FLCL: Baseball

"You should play baseball, too, Ta-kun.
Why do you always carry around a bat?"

"Why do you always hang around here by the river?"

"Because you know..."

I liked how Naota's brother served as a strong influence on Naota's mature and nonchalant disposition - an unseen character that still remained a constant, throughout the story. Living in the shadow of a successful athlete older brother, with his ex-girlfriend calling you by his nickname while she kissed you? It would make me pretty indifferent, too.

The bat was a last minute decision, the night before we left for Otakon. I'm glad we did it, too. It came in handy for so many poses and photos - mostly with ~Mikayl nailing me in the head. But y'know, it makes convention shots more fun~


FLCL is only six episodes, but it's so packed with depth, it feels a lot longer.
